Choose the Right Tweezers
One of the first things you will need to do before you start filling in your brows is to shape them. To shape your brows, you will need to take a pair of tweezers and pluck hairs to help form a more unified shape. Some people choose to go to a professional to help shape their brows, especially if they are shaping for the very first time. However, if you choose to shape your brows at home, then you will need the right kind of tweezers.
When you pluck your eyebrows, you will need tweezers that are sharp and slanted. Using dull tweezers may cause irritation that can result in red, unsightly brows. Additionally, using tweezers that aren’t slanted could cause pinching around the hair. The slanted tweezers are better for grasping and pulling the eyebrow hairs without pinching, leaving your brows looking flawless!
Fill Your Brows Before You Tweeze
Once you start plucking your brows, it can be easy to get a little carried away. Before you know it, you may have accidentally plucked hairs inside of your brow line, leaving you with a bare patch. To help combat this from happening, you can use a brow pencil to outline your eyebrows and fill them in before you start to pluck. This will help you determine what hairs are outside of the brow line and what hairs can stay in place.
Give Them a Trim
You may think that once you’ve plucked the stray hairs that you’re ready to fill your eyebrows in and hit the road, but that’s not the case. After you’ve plucked the stray hairs, you may notice that your brows still aren’t perfect. You may have a few hairs that are within the brow line, but don’t quite cooperate. That’s why we recommend giving your brows a trim! Use a spoolie or an eyebrow brush to comb the hairs upward. From there, you can use nail scissors to trim any hairs that reach above the brow line, giving your brows a cleaner look.
